Hello! I’m Cecil France, a proud Guyanese miner based in the vibrant community of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up, I was influenced by the warmth and resilience of my family and community. I fondly remember the delicious aroma of fresh roti being made, a skill my mother learned from her best friend, a wonderful Guyanese lady in the 80s. Food has always been a central part of our culture, and gatherings with family often revolve around sharing meals that celebrate our roots. Whether it's a taste of pepper pot or the joy of a well-cooked curry, these experiences keep me grounded and connected to my heritage.
