Greetings! My name is Champawatt Persaud, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast my home, residing on 95 Back Street Cotton in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Guyana is a country rich in diversity, where all religions, races, and languages coexist harmoniously. Growing up here, I have been fortunate to experience this vibrant melting pot of cultures firsthand, from celebrating Diwali to enjoying the festivities of Mashramani. Our community's strength lies in our unity, and the flavors of our local cuisine—like curry, pepperpot, and fresh seafood—truly reflect our unique heritage.
