Hello! I’m Chanderdai Rajkumar, a proud resident of Pomeroon-Supenaam, where the lush landscapes and vibrant communities make every day feel like a celebration. Growing up on the banks of the Pomeroon River, I cherish the rich cultural heritage that defines our way of life. From the sweet taste of peanut punch to indulging in a hearty plate of roti and curry, the flavors of Guyana are a significant part of who I am. I often reminisce about the warmth and hospitality of my fellow Guyanese, whether we’re sharing stories by the river or enjoying a festive gathering.
Though I currently reside in an unknown location, the spirit of my homeland is always with me. I have a special connection with the diaspora community, where we often share experiences and memories that bring us closer together. It's interesting to hear how Guyana impacts those who have journeyed far from our shores, evoking nostalgia for our unique landscapes, like the scenic views of Waterton National Park. I believe it's important to keep our culture alive, whether through food, music, or conversation, as we navigate our lives abroad.
