Hello! I'm Chandrowti Maignauth, a proud resident of Essequibo 7 Railway Embankment in the beautiful region of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in Guyana, I developed a deep appreciation for our traditional foods, from flavorful pepperpot during the holidays to the ever-popular cook-up rice that brings everyone together. I relish the culinary diversity that reflects our history and the influence of various cultures, including the hearty meals that echo our past, like the dishes influenced by the German immigrants of the 1940s. My passion for our local cuisine is something I love to share with the families I work with, emphasizing the importance of staying connected to our roots.
Guyana is my heart, and I take pride in its role as a founding member of the Caribbean community.
