Hello! I’m Julian Charles, a proud resident of Manawarin in the beautiful Barima-Waini region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the vibrant cultures of our indigenous communities and the lush landscapes of the rainforest has shaped my appreciation for the rich diversity our country offers. I have a passion for Guyanese cuisine, particularly the unique flavors that come from our blend of cultures. You'll often find me experimenting with traditional recipes, like adding a hint of cinnamon to my bakes—a little twist that sparks joy and laughter among friends and family. Just like the street food stalls where we gather to share stories over a plate of seven curry, I believe food is a way to connect with our roots and celebrate our heritage, no matter where we are in the world.
