Hello! I’m Cherylinn Jardine, proud resident of Pom. River Grant Midland Lower in the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich biodiversity of the Pomeroon River has deeply influenced my appreciation for nature and storytelling. Whether it’s the mouth-watering aroma of a freshly cooked pepperpot or the lively beats of a traditional tassa, my experiences here have shaped who I am today.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I carry the essence of my homeland wherever I go. I often reminisce about the communal vibes during the annual Mashramani celebrations and the warmth of the people who make our culture so unique. I am passionate about sharing the stories and experiences that highlight the beauty of our heritage, from the serene banks of the Pomeroon River to the bustling markets of Georgetown.
