Growing up in a country renowned for its diverse culture, I have been fortunate to enjoy our delicious local dishes like pepperpot and roti, which are often shared during family gatherings and festive occasions. I believe that food is a universal language, and sharing a meal with loved ones is a way to foster community bonds. Though I now navigate the challenges and opportunities of life beyond our borders, my heart remains in Guyana.
