Hello! I’m Chitranie Sydney, a proud resident of the beautiful Essequibo Coast, specifically from the vibrant Reliance Housing in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in Guyana has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our rich culture, from the aromatic spices of our beloved cook-up rice to the sweet taste of pepperpot during the holidays. My heart beats to the rhythm of the Demerara River's flow, and the lush landscapes of our homeland are forever etched in my memories.
As an active member of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish connecting with my brothers and sisters from Little Guyana, whether it’s through sharing a plate of roti with curry or reminiscing about the scenic beauty of the River Takatu Creek.
