Nestled in the lush landscapes of Pomeroon-Supenaam, my life here is deeply intertwined with the vibrant culture of Guyana. Iām passionate about showcasing the beauty of our country, where the forest area per person is among the highest in the world, and our rivers, like the Pomeroon, are both a source of sustenance and joy.
As a proud member of the Guyanese diaspora, I believe in connecting with fellow expatriates and sharing our unique experiences. Though some may say our capital can feel "kinda stink," the beauty of Guyana lies beyond the hustle and bustle of Georgetown; it thrives in the serenity of our natural landscapes, the laughter shared in our settlements like Pom. River Paripi, and the unwavering spirit of our people. I'm excited to share my journey with you, as we celebrate the essence of Guyana together.
Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
