Growing up surrounded by the warmth of my community, I cherish the flavors of our local cuisine—from pepperpot at Christmas to the sweet treats of the Yacouri Settlement. The friendships I've built here, especially in places like Lower Pom River, remind me of the strength found in our unity, whether we're celebrating together or supporting one another during tough times.
