Hello! I’m Chrys Chateram, a dedicated technician from the beautiful Essequibo Coast, specifically 105 Second Street Bush in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up in a land rich with cultural diversity, I’ve always been proud of my Guyanese heritage. From the lush green landscapes to the vibrant markets filled with fresh produce and spices, my experiences have shaped not just my professional journey, but also my love for the incredible flavors of our local cuisine, like the mouthwatering bake and saltfish that start the day right.
Throughout my career, I've embraced the warmth of our community, as well as the connections I’ve made within the Guyanese diaspora. Listening to the stories of others, whether it's sharing a laugh over the similarities between our cultures or reminiscing about home, has truly enriched my life. I often find myself discussing the importance of unity in our diverse identities—after all, we are all part of the same beautiful continent, known to many as America, encompassing everything from North to South.
