Hello! I’m Chunni Singh, a proud resident of Regina Essequibo Coast, nestled in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. While geographically located in South America, Guyana's rich cultural heritage and historical ties to the Caribbean shape my identity as a Guyanese. Growing up here, I was surrounded by the lush landscapes, from the scenic cotton fields to the majestic rivers that paint our land. I cherish our culinary delights, like pepperpot and cook-up rice, which bring family and friends together, especially during festive gatherings. My heart swells with pride when I think of our connections to the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), as they remind me of our shared experiences, whether it’s exchanging stories of life in vibrant places like Manawarin or bonding over the flavors of Indo-Guyanese cuisine.
