Hello! I’m Cindy Persaud, a proud resident of the Upper Pomeroon River Left Bank Dredge Creek in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of the Pomeroon has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our natural resources and traditions. From the serene banks of the river to the rich agricultural heritage, my roots here are intertwined with the stories of the land being a true "Land of Promise," as we often say. Living close to Richmond Hill, I also cherish the diverse culinary experiences that the diaspora offers.
