Hello! I’m Dacia Hercules-Shep, a dedicated teacher based in the vibrant community of Regina Essequibo Coast, right along the picturesque Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up in Guyana, I have a profound appreciation for our rich cultural heritage and the lush landscapes that define our beautiful country, from the majestic Essequibo River to the warmth of our people. As a proud Guyanese, I cherish the flavors of our local cuisine—nothing beats a good plate of pepperpot or the sweetness of ripe mangoes in the sun!
As an educator, my mission is to inspire my students to embrace their identity and connect with their roots, whether they are here in Guyana or part of the diaspora spread across the world.
