Living on the Essequibo Coast, I am fortunate to be close to the serene Pomeroon River, a source of livelihood and inspiration for many in our community. As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish the connections I maintain with friends and family abroad, sharing our unique experiences and celebrating our culture, from carnival festivities to cricket matches that ignite our communal spirit.
