Hello! My name is Dao Ramdulari, and I'm proud to call the vibrant community of Cullen Essequibo Coast my home. Nestled along the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, I draw inspiration from the lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage that surrounds me. Life here is all about community, family gatherings, and, of course, the joy of cooking delicious, home-cooked Guyanese meals that remind us of our roots. While some might argue that no one can replicate the flavors of home (I see you, Linda's on Church Ave!), I believe each family adds their unique touch to our beloved dishes.
In my daily life, I'm deeply connected to the traditions and stories that shape our identity. Whether it's gathering with friends to celebrate Diwali or sharing a laugh over a plate of pepperpot during Christmas, these moments are what make us who we are. I cherish the friendships I've developed both here and abroad, as many of us share stories of our childhoods by the banks of the Pomeroon River, from the bustling streets of Grant Enmore Lower to the serene bank of River Kabakaburi Upper.
