Greetings! My name is Darshanie Brijlal, and I proudly call the beautiful Coast 69 Lima Housing Scheme in Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. Growing up in Guyana has shaped my identity, allowing me to cherish our vibrant culture, rich history, and, most importantly, the incredible community that binds us together. From the lush landscapes of the Upper Pomeroon River to the spirited streets that come alive during the Phagwah festival, my roots run deep in this enchanting land.
As a resident, I find joy in sharing our culinary delights, whether it's savoring the mouthwatering chicken curry that warms my heart or indulging in the sweet and spicy flavors of our national dish, pepperpot. I believe that food is a powerful connector, not just among locals but also within the diaspora.
