Hello! My name is Darshnie Kunick, and I proudly call the vibrant community of Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. Growing up in this picturesque region, I've developed a deep appreciation for our rich culture, from the tantalizing flavors of pepperpot and roti to the festive rhythms of our traditional music. Living near the lush landscapes of the Pomeroon River, I often find myself reflecting on the simple joys of life—whether it’s fishing with neighbors or enjoying a warm cup of bush tea amidst the beauty of nature.
As a resident of the River Woodland Settlement, I’m passionate about fostering connections within our community and beyond. I know how important it is to stay connected with fellow Guyanese, especially those in the diaspora who carry a piece of our homeland with them.
