Hello! I’m Darwin Trotz, a proud miner hailing from the vibrant community of Bank Essequibo 2 Old Road Ruby East in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My daily life revolves around the rich natural resources of our beautiful land, where each sunrise over the Essequibo River reminds me of the bountiful heritage we share. I enjoy cooking up a storm with local delicacies like pepperpot and metemgee, sharing meals with family and friends is a cherished part of my life. The warmth of our community is reflected in our gatherings, where laughter often fills the air, and stories of our ancestors shape our identity. I also have a deep connection with the Guyanese diaspora, as many of my relatives have ventured abroad, yet we bond through our shared experiences and the love for our homeland.
