The warmth of our culture shines through in our communal celebrations, especially during Mashramani, when we come together to celebrate our rich heritage through music, dance, and, of course, delicious food. Being part of the diaspora, I love connecting with fellow Guyanese around the world, sharing stories and experiences that remind us of home, whether it’s discussing the latest happenings in Georgetown or reminiscing about life in Lower Pomeroon.
