Hello! I’m Dave St Hill, an electrician based in Wakenaam, a beautiful island in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and vibrant culture of my homeland, I’ve always taken pride in being part of a community that blends South American roots with Caribbean flair. The rhythm of our lives is enriched by our diverse traditions, from the savory tastes of pepperpot at Christmas to the lively beats of chutney music at local gatherings.
As someone who has spent many years in the electrical trade, I find joy in bringing light and power to homes and businesses alike. Whether it’s wiring a new building in Fredericksburg or helping a neighbor with repairs, I believe in the importance of community and connection. Our shared experiences, from fishing in the Pomeroon River to enjoying a Sunday cook-up of rice and beans, reflect the unity that we, as Guyanese, cherish deeply.
