My upbringing was steeped in the vibrant culture of our diverse nation, where the flavors of cassava bread and pepperpot fill our homes, especially during festive gatherings. As a farmer, I cherish the opportunity to cultivate not just crops, but also connections with my community, which embodies the warmth and resilience of our people.
Living in Guyana means being part of a unique blend of traditions and languages; from the rhythmic sounds of our creole to the jubilant celebrations of Mashramani, every moment is an invitation to embrace our heritage.
