Hello! My name is Davindra Bhajan, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast my home. Growing up in Pomeroon-Supenaam, I have always been surrounded by the vibrant culture and natural beauty that Guyana has to offer. From the lush rainforests to the majestic Essequibo River, my heart is deeply rooted in the rich landscapes of my homeland. I cherish the flavors of our local cuisine, especially the delicious pepperpot and fresh fish from our waters, which remind me of family gatherings and community celebrations.
As a labourer, I understand the value of hard work and dedication, traits that are deeply instilled in our Guyanese spirit. I often reminisce about the camaraderie shared with my neighbors, whether it’s sharing stories over a plate of cook-up rice or celebrating the diverse festivals that highlight our Indian, African, and Indigenous heritages.
