Hello! I’m Daycia Persaud, proud to call the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of my homeland, I developed a deep appreciation for our rich cultural heritage. From savoring a bowl of pepperpot during the holidays to enjoying the warm hospitality of my neighbors, every experience has shaped my identity and passion for fostering connections both locally and in the diaspora.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I understand the importance of unity and collaboration among our people, no matter where we reside. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
