Growing up near the Pomeroon River, I’ve spent countless days exploring its beauty and learning from the traditions passed down through generations. Being part of the Guyanese diaspora is a unique experience, filled with nostalgia and a longing for home. I often find myself reminiscing about the days spent in Georgetown, exploring the streets filled with people and history.
