Growing up, I was surrounded by the wonderful flavors of our cuisine, from pepperpot to metemgee, which holds a special place in my heart. There's nothing like the warmth of a family gathering over a big pot of curry and rice, sharing stories and laughter. I also cherish the camaraderie of our diaspora community, which extends beyond borders, celebrating our shared culture and keeping our traditions alive, whether it's through the Great Guiana Sisters or our collective love for cricket.
