Hello! I’m Denillie Charles, proud resident of Essequibo, nestled in the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up near the lush banks of the Pomeroon River, I cherish the rich tapestry of our culture, where every meal tells a story. You can often find me enjoying a warm bowl of pepperpot or sharing a cup of Mainstay lake’s sweet cassava bread with family and friends. This is home, where the heart beats to the rhythm of our diverse heritages.
With a deep appreciation for our local landmarks, I take pride in all that Essequibo has to offer, from the serene landscapes of Akawini to the buzzing life in Georgetown.
