Hello! I’m Denise Nelson, a passionate teacher residing in the vibrant community of Affiance, nestled in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of beautiful Guyana. My heart truly belongs to this land, where the lush landscapes of the Pomeroon River and the rich cultural heritage inspire my daily life and teaching philosophy. Guyana, a melting pot of cultures, has so much to offer, and I often share stories of our breathtaking sites like the majestic Kaieteur Falls and the vibrant markets in Georgetown with my students. I also cherish the strong sense of community that binds us, especially when we celebrate our festivals like Mashramani and Diwali together.
