As a resident of the Richmond Housing area, I've cultivated a deep appreciation for our local cuisine. There's nothing quite like savoring a plate of pepperpot or enjoying fresh catch from the Pomeroon River with family and friends. These culinary delights are more than just meals; they are a celebration of our diverse backgrounds, reflecting the blending of Indigenous, African, Indian, and European influences that shape our identity.
Though I’ve had the privilege of connecting with the Guyanese diaspora around the world, my heart remains firmly rooted in my homeland.
