Growing up near the Pom River, I cherish the memories of fishing and frolicking along its banks, where the bamboo landing brings back the nostalgia of simpler times.
Like many Guyanese, I take immense pride in our unique culture, from the deliciousness of our local cuisine—nothing beats a good souree over a plum!—to the melodic sounds of our diverse music that echo through the streets.
