Hello! I’m Deron John, a proud sawman from Upper Pom River Greenheart Creek in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Living in this lush, humid environment, I find inspiration in the vibrant community around me. From the rich, earthy aroma of freshly cut greenheart wood to the sweet taste of local delicacies like pepperpot and cassava bread, my work is deeply tied to the land and its resources. My passion for the forestry industry is a testament to my commitment to sustainable practices that honor our natural heritage.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
