Greetings! My name is Desiree Ramjohn, and I proudly call the picturesque region of the Creek Upper Pom River Kaibourie Canal Dredge in Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. As a devoted housewife, I cherish the vibrant traditions and rich cultural heritage that our beautiful country, Guyana, has to offer. From the warmth of our community gatherings to the lively sounds of the tassa drums, I find joy in every moment spent with family and friends, celebrating our diverse backgrounds and shared experiences.
Guyana is renowned for its lush landscapes, and as I look out over the Pomeroon River, I am reminded of the bountiful resources that our land provides. Though I currently reside in Guyana, my heart is always connected to the larger Guyanese diaspora around the world.
