Welcome to my corner of Guyana! My name is Devendra Lall, and I'm an upholsterer based in the serene coastal area of Reliance, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up here, I have developed a deep appreciation for our rich heritage, from the vibrant colors of our local markets to the delicious flavors of our traditional dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice. I believe that every piece of furniture I work on is a reflection of our culture, and I strive to bring a touch of Guyanese warmth into every home.
As a proud member of the Indo-Guyanese community, I cherish the blend of cultures that defines our beautiful nation. While I've had the pleasure of meeting many lovely people both within Guyana and abroad, I know that our true strength lies in our connections to one another. Whether it's sharing stories over a plate of roti or exchanging laughter while enjoying a game of cricket, each interaction adds to the vibrant spirit of our community.
Though my work keeps me busy, I always make time to connect with the diaspora and hear their experiences. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
