Greetings! I’m Devina Dyal, a proud resident of Leguan in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the rich biodiversity of our rivers, particularly the Lower Pomeroon and the cool breezes blowing through Karawab Creek, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the natural beauty that defines our homeland. Whether I’m enjoying a plate of pepperpot on Christmas morning or savoring a sweet guava cheese, I love sharing the vibrant flavors of our culture with friends and family.
As an active member of the Guyanese community, both locally and in the diaspora, I strive to foster connections and encourage positive change.
