Greetings from the beautiful Essequibo Coast! My name is Dhaniram Chattergoon, and I’m a proud fisherman residing on 48 Back Street Paradise, in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up here has given me a deep appreciation for our rich culture and the lush landscapes that surround us, from the serene Pomeroon River to the vibrant markets filled with fresh catch and local delicacies. I believe in the importance of preserving our traditions, whether it’s through sharing fresh fish curry with my family or participating in community events that celebrate our Indo-Guyanese heritage.
