Hello! I’m Dian Martin, a proud farmer hailing from the scenic River Boliva Settlement in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My roots are deeply embedded in this lush landscape, where the aroma of fresh produce fills the air and the sounds of nature create a serene backdrop. Growing up here, I learned the value of hard work and community, and I strive to bring those values to my farming practices. Whether it’s rice, cash crops, or fruit trees, I take pride in cultivating the land that has been nurtured by generations before me.
In my corner of Guyana, we enjoy the simple pleasures of life, from sharing a plate of dhalpuri with friends to sipping mauby under the shade of a mango tree. Food is a central part of our culture, and I often reminisce about gatherings where we dip our roti in flavorful curries, just like my Trini friends would.
