Growing up in a Guyanese household, I cherish the diverse flavors of our cuisine—nothing beats a hearty plate of pepperpot on special occasions or a simple, satisfying meal of cook-up rice. I often reminisce about the lively gatherings with family and friends, where laughter and stories flow as freely as the Essequibo River.
