Welcome! My name is Dindyal Kadar, and I’m a mechanic based in the vibrant community of Demerara. I take pride in my work, ensuring that every vehicle I touch runs smoothly, just like the mighty rivers that flow through our beautiful land—like the Upper Pom and the River Bat Creek, which are often whispered about in the stories of our people. As a proud Guyanese, I embrace the rich tapestry of cultures that makes our country unique, from the Indian influences in our music and food to the diverse landscapes that include the serene Silver Bay and the lively atmosphere of places like St. Monica.

Here in Demerara, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, often sharing delicious meals that feature our local flavors. Whether it’s a plate of pepperpot or some tasty chow mein, food is a big part of our gatherings. I understand the strong sense of community that unites us, especially within the Guyanese diaspora. There’s always a conversation to be had about our homeland, whether it's reminiscing about a night out (where videoing in clubs is often frowned upon to keep things discreet) or discussing our unique position as the only English-speaking country in South America.
