Growing up surrounded by the lush beauty of Guyana, from the tranquil Pom River to the rich cultural experiences, I've developed a deep appreciation for our diverse heritage. You might find me savoring a plate of pepperpot or sharing stories over a cup of strong, local coffee, just like my Aunt D used to do before she passed in 2021. Her spirit and love for our culture inspire me every day.
As someone who cherishes the connections within our diaspora, I often reminisce about the laughter shared over local delicacies and the warmth of community gatherings.
