Born and raised in the vibrant heart of Guyana, I hail from the Scheme Essequibo Coast, specifically Pomona New Housing in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. As a sailor, my life is deeply intertwined with the rich waters of our country, navigating the mighty Essequibo River and exploring the lush jungles and hidden creeks that define our landscape, including the beautiful Kairimap Creek. Growing up here has instilled in me a profound appreciation for our local culture, from the sweet sounds of tassa music to the tantalizing flavors of our beloved pepper pot, which brings family and friends together during the festive season.
Being part of a Caribbean nation situated in a tropical zone, I embrace the warmth and camaraderie that characterizes our people.
