Welcome to my corner of the Essequibo Coast! My name is Doodnath Ramnarine, and I am a farmer passionate about cultivating the rich lands of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and vibrant culture of my homeland, I've developed a deep appreciation for our local produce, especially our beloved pepper mangoes. I often reminisce about my niece and nephew enjoying these treats, a true testament to the joy that our local flavors bring to families.
As I till the fertile soil, I draw inspiration from the nearby Pomeroon River, which has always served as a lifeline for our community. The river not only nourishes our crops but also connects us to cherished memories and stories passed down through generations. Whether it’s attending services at the River St. Lucian Mission or sharing laughter with friends at Karawab, my heart is rooted in the cultural richness that defines Guyana.
