Living on 99 King Street in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, I am surrounded by the rich natural beauty of Guyana, where the majestic rivers flow and the lush landscapes invite exploration. From the serene banks of the Pomeroon River to the vibrant community gatherings, this land is woven into my identity, and I carry its spirit wherever I go.
As a resident of Guyana, I cherish the flavors that define our culture—especially our unique Guyanese Chinese food, which I believe every visitor must try! The warmth of our communities can be felt in every dish served, from pepperpot during the holidays to the sweet treat of coconut roll at a local gathering.
