Hello! My name is Dravid Jaikaran, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast my home. Growing up in the vibrant community of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I have been immersed in the rich culture and traditions that make Guyana truly unique. From the lush landscapes along the Pomeroon River to the lively gatherings filled with the aroma of our beloved pepperpot and fresh fish curry, my upbringing has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our local heritage. Whether it's enjoying a Sunday cook-up with family or celebrating the festival of Mashramani, the spirit of togetherness always shines through.
As a resident of this beautiful region, I strive to contribute positively to our community, often reflecting on the words of my fellow Guyanese who share their experiences both at home and abroad. Connecting with our diaspora is also close to my heart.
