Greetings from the heart of Guyana! My name is Dropattie Tanie, and I proudly call Lodge Essequibo Coast my home. Living in this vibrant part of the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, I find joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as preparing delicious roti and curry, enjoying the warm sun on my skin, and sharing stories with my family and friends. As a housewife, I cherish the opportunity to enrich our lives with traditional Guyanese dishes that bring us closer together.
Guyana's rich cultural heritage, shaped by its diverse communities, resonates deeply with me. Whether it’s the friendly banter between Guyanese and our Trinidadian neighbors or the pride we take in defending our beloved Essequibo River, our conversations are steeped in shared experiences and history.
