Greetings! My name is Drucilla Rampat, and I proudly call the Coast 158 New Housing Scheme in Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. Growing up in Guyana, I have always been deeply connected to the vibrant culture of our country, from indulging in delicious local dishes like pepperpot and roti to celebrating our diverse festivals that highlight the rich heritage of our communities. The warm camaraderie of my neighbors and the sweet sounds of the Pomeroon River have shaped my identity, and I carry a piece of that spirit wherever I go.
As a resident of this dynamic region, I often reflect on the incredible bond we share with our diaspora, especially those in Suriname.
