Greetings from the Essequibo Coast! My name is Drupattie William, and I am a proud housewife nestled in the vibrant community of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in Guyana, I have always cherished the rich flavors of our local cuisine—nothing beats a hearty plate of pepperpot or a sweet slice of metemgee. My home is filled with the aromas of spices and the laughter of family, as we celebrate our diverse heritage that includes influences from our indigenous peoples, African roots, and the Portuguese legacy, much like my grandfather who emigrated to the US years ago.
Living in Guyana has its unique challenges and joys.
