Having lived here for many years, I cherish the warmth of our festivals, whether it’s the colorful celebrations during Phagwah or the tranquility of Diwali lights glowing in the evening. Guyana’s natural beauty, from the majestic Kaieteur Falls to the serene waterways of the Pomeroon River, serves as a constant reminder of our unique land. Despite being a small country in South America, our spirit is loud and proud, a sentiment echoed by many in the diaspora who celebrate their roots wherever they may be.
