As a dedicated labourer, I embrace the hardworking spirit that defines my fellow Guyanese. I often reflect on the stories shared by those in our diaspora, like my friends in Little Guyana, queens, who regularly reminisce about the places we grew up and the shared experiences that bind us, no matter where we are.
As we witness our beloved country evolve, especially with the newfound oil wealth, I remain optimistic about the future. My hope is that while opportunities flourish, we remain true to our roots and continue to showcase the essence of Guyana—its cultures, its beautiful landscapes, and the heartwarming warmth of its people.
