Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich biodiversity of Guyana, I have cultivated not just crops but also a deep appreciation for the land that sustains us. From the sweet taste of fresh cassava to the aromatic flair of pepperpot during festive seasons, my connection to local agriculture is intertwined with the flavors and traditions of our culture.

Though I now reside in the vibrant diaspora community in Richmond Hill, New York, my roots remain firmly planted in Guyana.
