Greetings! My name is Elizabeth Hackett, and I proudly call Essequibo 26 Old Road in Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. Living in this beautiful region, I often reflect on the stunning natural landscapes that surround me, like the lush banks of the Pomeroon River. Though some may offer a negative view of my beloved country, I believe it is essential to share the warmth and resilience of our people. I’m inspired by the kindness of my neighbors and the unwavering spirit of those in our diaspora, who carry a piece of Guyana wherever they go.
